Adrian Cloer: a new Mazars Partner and the head of the German desk, 13.1.2017

Prague, 13 January 2017 – Adrian Cloer has become a new Partner in Mazars Czech Republic as well as the Head of the German Desk. He will be responsible for business activities in the entire Central and Eastern European (CEE) region. Prague as a hub for these activities has been chosen reflecting the importance of the German-Czech economic ties. In addition to his work in Prague, Adrian Cloer will also continue to hold the position of a Partner in Mazars’ Berlin office.

“My most important task will be to create a connection between German and Central European companies in the framework of their business activities. A considerable advantage of such a connection for the client is that it will not depend on the services of a contact person in a given country, but will rather be taken care of by a mixed team of local and German consultants across the provided services” stated Adrian Cloer.

“With Adrian’s arrival we are not only looking forward to help in the area of the management and coordination of internal communication among all the Mazars managers in the region oriented on the German-speaking markets, but primarily the strengthening of our position and the building of new relationships and business opportunities with German, Austrian and Swiss companies throughout Central and Eastern Europe,” according to the Managing Partner of Mazars Czech Republic, Milan Prokopius. “We want to make use of the Mazars’ strong European-wide position on these markets and to benefit from the geographic position of the Prague office. We place an emphasis on the provisioning of all the services under one roof for German-speaking clients in the region, who can thereby use a local approach, but together with the global backing of an international company,” added Milan Prokopius.

Adrian Cloer is a German attorney at law and a certified tax advisor. During his professional career he has been focusing on international tax structuring and European tax regulations. Besides the partnership within Mazars, he is a Professor at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany. In addition to his native tongue, he is fluent in English, French and Polish and keeps learning Czech.
