Prague, 1 September 2018 – The management of the Mazars audit and consulting company has grown with the addition of two new partners. The company has named Vendula Pešková and Jan Kellner to the posts of partners of the AOS and Audit departments, respectively.

The Mazars consulting company was successful in the eighth annual “Tax Advisor and Tax Firm of the Year” awards. It was awarded the wonderful second place in the prestigious “Most Desirable Tax Employer” category. In addition, Mazars’ tax advisor Julie Prokopová, who is involved in the area of corporation income tax, won by a wide margin in the category of Rising Tax Star. Her colleague Petr Drahoš was also recognised, placing second in one of the main individual categories of the 2017 Tax Advisor of the Year awards: Value Added Tax. The winners were announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday, 15 February in Prague’s Hotel International.

Prague, 16 February 2017 – The Mazars consulting company has received the most prestigious corporate recognition in the 7th annual “ČSOB Tax Advisor and Tax Firm of the Year” awards and has become the “Most Desirable Tax Employer” based on voting by the public. Mazars’ tax advisor Petr Drahoš also took away an individual award from the ceremony, which took place on 16 February in the Hotel International. As one of the nominees with the most votes, he defended, for the second time, his selection for the “Dream Tax Office” (which contains 7 experts with the greatest number of votes in the Brightest Tax Star and Brightest Rising Tax Star categories). Drahoš, an expert in the area of value added tax, received his award in a category which is voted on by his peers.
Prague, 13 January 2017 – Adrian Cloer has become a new Partner in Mazars Czech Republic as well as the Head of the German Desk. He will be responsible for business activities in the entire Central and Eastern European (CEE) region. Prague as a hub for these activities has been chosen reflecting the importance of the German-Czech economic ties. In addition to his work in Prague, Adrian Cloer will also continue to hold the position of a Partner in Mazars’ Berlin office.
