Prague, 5 October 2017 – The management of the Mazars audit and consulting company has grown with the addition of two new partners. The company has named Jana Boštíková and Jiří Šimek to the posts of partners of the HR & Payroll Services and Audit departments, respectively.
Jana Boštíková has been leading the HR & Payroll Services Department in Mazars for 6 years. She specialises in the outsourcing of payroll services, especially international projects in the areas of personnel administration, payroll and HR controlling. There are 30 experts working in the department, whose services in the area of the outsourcing of payroll accounting and HR are used by two hundred clients in various fields and of various sizes, from small and medium-sized businesses to large multinational companies. Jana Boštíková is a graduate of the University of Economics in Prague. During her professional career she has acquired experience in the area of consulting, audits, financial and payroll accounting and HR. She has been working in Mazars since 2005.
Jiří Šimek is moving to the position of Partner after 17 years in the company. In addition to the Audit Department, he also acted as the head of the Mazars Valuation Institute, a position he will continue to hold. In the area of audits he has focused on the audits of multinational companies and their consolidation. With regards to consulting he has focused on the area of business combinations, including the effects of valuations in mergers, and on expert activities, focused primarily on the valuation of companies. As a Partner of the Audit Department he will continue to work on audits of international companies and their consolidation, consultation for IFRS requirements, consultation during company transformations and the providing of expertise. Jiří Šimek is a graduate of the University of Economics in Prague, a statutory auditor listed in the Chamber of Auditors of the Czech Republic, a tax advisor listed in the Chamber of Tax Advisors of the Czech Republic and a certified accounting expert.
