VAT Alert: Problems with the fulfilment of your VAT obligation in the Czech Republic?

We would like to share with you the latest issue of our VAT ALERT. This issue explains how companies can deal with their problems with the fulfilment of VAT obligations.

The coronavirus epidemic, which has afflicted the entire world, has slowed and sometimes even stopped the activities of many companies and entrepreneurs in the Czech Republic. They then have a problem with meeting their business obligations and the payment of the expenses connected with their businesses (which also includes taxes, of course). The Czech Ministry of Finance has introduced certain measures in the area of taxation, which are supposed to alleviate the effects of the crisis and bring businesses temporary tax relief. While the Ministry introduced very benevolent measures for income tax both from the perspective of submitting returns and for the payment of tax obligations, this relief was not implemented in the area of VAT.
