We are the 7th largest audit firm in the Czech Republic, and we do audits for approximately 300 Czech and international companies. In the Czech Republic we have around 50 professional auditors, who have exceptional knowledge in their field, and fully respect each client’s needs. We mainly audit large and medium-sized businesses from all different sectors, from financial institutions and insurance companies, to production, food, cosmetic and automobile industry companies.

We are constantly investing in the trainings and certifications of our employees in new accounting standards and audit methodologies. Our audit model is highly professional and proven, and is applied in all Mazars offices around the world. Through the Mazars Group, we are present in 73 countries. Audits of financial statements

The methodology of statutory audits is governed by the Business Corporations Act No.90/2012 Coll., as amended, Act No. 563/1991 Coll. on Accounting, as amended, and Act No. 93/2009 on Auditors, as amended. A statutory audit includes the audit of the financial statements for a particular accounting period. This is usually a calendar year.

Preparation of financial statements

The preparation of financial statements in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards is usually an extension of the standard preparation of the statutory accounts.
