Announcement of Top Czech women in 2016, 24.1.2017

Results of the 12th year announced the publishing house Economia, which by the way also published Hospodářské noviny and Aktuálně.cz. "We are increasing the visibility of successful women and we inspire the whole society," says Roman Latuske, CEO of Economia. The awards show women as capable managers, mothers and wives. It also deals with equal employment opportunities and treatment of women in management positions.

The main award was given to Kateřina Jirásková from PPF Group, who stood in the last four years behind the sale of Česká pojišťovna to the Italian group Generali or behind the purchase of O2. The second place was awarded to the last year's winner Petra Procházková from Agrofert. Third place was awarded to Michaela Chaloupková from ČEZ.
